ＡＩで３Dモデルが生成できるようになれば、シーナリー制作者は不要になるのか?

　今回アップデートされたジャパンワールドは、衛星写真を元にＡＩで生成されているらしい。近い将来は、ＡＩで３Ｄモデルを丸ごと作成できるようになる→シーナリー制作者は全員廃業になるかも😨😨😨(^_^;)。 　ということで、心配になって敵の能力を偵察してみました。Hitem3Dという最新で最も評判がいいＡＩにジェットビートルの前後左右の画像を読み込ませて自動生成。５分ほどで画像のモデルが吐き出されました。 　生成結果は画像の通りです。このままではとても使えません。先日作ったモデルはメッシュ数が１３、０００ほどだったのに比べて２００、０００と１０倍以上。黒い部分を窓と認識するようで胴体に描かれた文字が変な形の窓になっていたり、翼や胴体に変な凹凸があったり、それに全体的になんだかブヨブヨしています。メッシュを少なくして解像度を落とすと、何だかミルクに浸してふやけたパンみたいになってしまいます。これを手作業で修正するなら最初から作った方が絶対に早い。 　四方からの精細な写真が手に入るモデルでさえこの品質なので、部分部分の写真しか手に入らない建物などは当面はＡＩでの生成は難しそう。ストリート・ビューの角度のついた画像や、動画から切り出した部分部分の不鮮明な画像から推測して建物のモデルを作るのは、まだまだ人間の方に分がありそうです。当面は失業することはなさそうで安心しました。 The newly updated Japan World is apparently generated using AI based on satellite photos. In the near future, AI will be able to create entire 3D models, which could put all scenery creators out of business 😨😨😨(^_^;). So, I became worried and decided to scout out the enemy's capabilities. I used Hitem3D, the latest and most popular AI, to load images of the Jet Beetle's front, back, left and right sides and automatically generated the model. It spit out the image model in about five minutes. The generated result is as shown in the image. It is completely unusable in this state. The model I created the other day had about 13,000 meshes, but this one now has 200,000, more than 10 times the number. It seems to recognize the black areas as windows, so the letters on the fuselage turn out to be oddly shaped windows, there are strange bumps on the wings and fuselage, and the whole thing just looks squishy. If you reduce the mesh and lower the resolution, it ends up looking like soggy bread that's been soaked in milk. It's definitely faster to just make it from scratch than to fix this manually. Given that even models with detailed photos from all sides are of this quality, it seems that AI will have difficulty generating buildings for which only partial photos are available for the time being. Humans still have an advantage when it comes to inferring building models from angled images on Street View or blurry partial images cut out from videos. It looks like I won't have to worry about losing my job for a while.
