The 42-year-old veteran, with over two decades of distinguished service, was part of a team deployed to provide aid and assistance to communities affected by a devastating natural disaster.

On March 12th, 2025, Chief Petty Officer Donovan and his squad were engaged in rescue operations when they encountered a sudden and unpredictable turn of events.
